Kores entered the engineering sector in 1985 to cater to the strong industry demand of water and mining, exclusive for manufacture of various types of drilling rigs, mud pumps and related accessories. The factory is located at Pithampur, 45 kms from Indore, Madhya Pradesh and occupies a total area of 71,192 sq.m.

The rigs are designed and engineered to operate safely, efficiently and reliably ? well beyond their stated performance parameters. They also utilise proven high-quality components from reliable sources of supply. The high level of quality is a direct result of the in-house expertise of the Kores team of engineers in the design and manufacture of drill rigs. Both pre-delivery and on-site commissioning procedures ensure that the drill rig is able to deliver the highest performance. Kores also absorbed technical know-how from M/s. George E Failing Co.? U.S.A. and M/s. Acker Drill Co. Inc., U.S.A to manufacture core drilling rigs and water well-drilling rigs.

Today, the Engineering Division specialises in a wide range of products.
